If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be I have a passion to help people break out of the mind set that general society tries to impose on people, which is settling for a life that is just "Good". I believe "Good" is the worst enemy of "Best" and if people would just grasp a hold of that, they would turn their lives around and really live life to the full. If I can help enough people get what they want, I will not have to worry about what I want because the knock on effect of helping others is, your needs get met also. I have a wife and 2 children and what I am building is to secure their futures, so as I help more people, I have the pleasure of seeing families built up and at the same time building up my own family. A very famous book states: "A wise man leaves an inheritance to his children", so as I build for the future of my family, I guess I am gaining in wisdom.
 
Aside from that I'm a Christian who believes in the power of God to effect every area of my life. I love sports, especially Pool & Snooker and I also love reading my Bible. I have a big extended family, so I love spending time with them and as there are a number of different beliefs in my family, I love discussing things on a deeper level. Holidays with the family are always nice and doing things with them is the best hobby I can think of. Another interest of mine is going into prisons to speak to men that may have made some poor decisions in the past, but still have potential, once their mindsets have changed. This is very rewarding and is just another way in which to give back.
 
The best thing about having my own business is it allows me to have the time to do the things I want to do rather than doing the things I have to do. If I was in a traditional 09:00-17:00 job, it would limit what I could do. As I am coming from a corporate background I know first hand that when you command a high salary, the organisation commands a higher time commitment. Therefore it is like robbing Peter to pay Paul but the only people that suffer are your family, even though what you are doing is perceived to be helping out the family. Now my commute to work is the office in my home, I am able to drop my children off to school and pick them back up again. I can make all of their plays, sports days and other school activities. All of which would have been impossible if I were still working in the corporate environment. The best thing about the business I am in is, it is willable to my children, so I have the peace of mind that if anything happens to me or my wife, they will be financially taken care of.
 
For me, it all started when I was made redundant from a middle management position in a company that pursued me for 12 months, to try and headhunt me into their organisation. I was responsible for a team of business developers and had to deliver projects on time and to budget. After my redundancy I started to look at things differently in regards to my future financial position. What struck me was, as long as I worked for someone else, I would never be in control of my financial future, no matter how much money I earned. Therefore I started looking at business opportunities that would allow me to work from home. In my search I was introduced to the company I now work alongside and it has proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Working alongside this company allows me to help nourish people on two levels, within their finances but also within their time. So every dollar or pound I make reflects a life that has been impacted for the positive. I cannot see a better way to develop an income
