If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that during 20 years of marketing, I have earned the bulk of my income from network marketing. I built a million dollar business with a New York Stock Exchange company that utilized MLM. I helped recruit and train 3,000 associates who sold more than 30,000 customers. I have generated substantial income with a first-class nutritional company, as well. The income is great, but the time freedom and relationships that come from this business are the best rewards.
Results matter in life and in business. Choices are important. Aligning yourself with a good company is important, but perhaps not as important as positioning yourself with a proven leader and mentor... A team player who is willing to give as much, or more, than they ever expect to receive in return. I have learned important lessons during my 55 years, but none more important than knowing that the more a person gives in life, the more they will receive. This universal principle - Give and Receive - will serve anybody very well.
Aside from that I'm a fortunate man in that I have been blessed with good health, great family and dedicated friends. I am LUCKY given the fact that I have made some bad choices in my life and still managed to come out a winner. Patience and persistence have served me well, and these are essential virtues, I believe, to thrive and not just survive in life.
I love life and I love people. I believe LOVE is an essential element for happiness. Reading, writing and photography are pasttimes that I enjoy and I like to mix all three with the joy of travel. I find travel is the best, or at least the most enjoyable form of education to help keep my mental juices flowing. Biking is my favorite form of exercise, along with swimming. Music is my method of relaxation with great food, fine wine and a warm, loving companion.
Yes, LOVE is an essential element for happiness. Money cannot buy love. It can give you the time and freedom to more readily enjoy the love you have in your life. Or, the time to find that love.
The best thing about having my own business is Time Freedom... the greatest element of building a successful and profitable network marketing business. Ongoing, residual income flowing into your bank account without darkening the door of an office or spending hours in a cubicle is awesome. Many business people make more money than me, but few have the time freedom to enjoy it because they are tied to an office. So, if you know you don't make a very good employee, start building your own multilevel marketing (MLM) business NOW.
Don't worry about making mistakes. Every owner makes mistakes when starting a business. It's the "learning curve," which can be reduced by teaming with an experienced marketer. Plus, the tools for growing a business today with the Internet are simple, inexpensive and effective for learning and communicating with mentors and team members. You lose time by hesitating. Time lost is an opportunity cost that cannot be replaced. Take the next step toward your own time freedom. I promise, you won't regret it.
For me, it all started when I accidentally stumbled into MLM and discovered that it fit my personality and financial goals. Without having lots of money to get started, I was able to leverage the knowledge of others because they benefited whenever I succeeded. Fortunately, I let my stubborn, Irish head open up enough to hear the message. I watched, listened and read. I sought out MLM authorities and outside literature. I saw people with half my skills succeed because of their desire and willingness to follow a leader. This is a monkey-see, monkey-do type of business. So, find a leader and don't reinvent the wheel.
Become the leader you know you can be. Then, help enough people get what they want, and you will get what you desire - money, time freedom, financial security, college expenses... You can achieve your goals... Whatever they may be.
