If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that I work for a living.
Aside from that I'm really just a lonely guy with a webpage.
The best thing about having my own business is that it gives me hope.
The concept of Mult-level marketing has been around for over fifty years. There are many excellent companies distributing many excellent products through a multi-level distributor structure. But just as in any thing, there are good ones and bad ones, too.
Perhaps you know exactly what I mean if you ever had to jump from one program to another.
Perhaps you are at the proverbial crossroads of failure and success.
Personally, I believe in this industry. If nothing else, it gives me hope. In the moral sense, Hope is a divine virtue by which we firmly believe and trust that God will give us eternal life and the means to obtain it. Simply put, it is the trust that God will provide. But, virtue is something we practice. It is something we do. It is a striving for excellence.
For me, it all started when a friend down the street told me about what his father was doing. At the time, I was still under age, but did see the concept. A few years later at college a former girl friend tried to get me interested in her new venture, but since had dumped me, I wasn't too interested in her going into business with her. A few years after that I met someone who when I asked what he did for a living he told me that he showed people how to diversify their income. Still later, after I had moved back to my home town, I met a friend from high school. He was working at the local copy shop when I went in to make copies of my resume. He said he had something that he thought I'd be good at. I've looked at a lot of programs and have tried many things. I've concluded that MLM is like golf -- it's a rich man's game and no one is really very good at it.
There is dignity in work and there's a lot to be said for a regular paycheck. But most jobs today are not family friendly.
